Ralph Ernest Krafve

Coach Krafve was my East Bakersfield High School Basketball Coach. He taught me to never give up and how to learn and stay focused. He was definitely instrumental in helping me to grow into a well rounded adult. After not seeing him for 50 years, he came to our 63 Class 50TH Reunion. I asked him if he remembered me after coaching so many 100's of boys? He said, "sure, I remember you". Absolutely made my day. I have Never forgotten this man and mentor and will never forget! Ralph was a good friend. I played basketball and baseball with him. He was an excellent athlete.and an all around good person. His judgement was good, proof is he married Dolly, another person l thought highly of. I just learned of Ralph's passing and I'm saddened by it..

Dolly, I was so sad to see that Ralph has passed away. I'll always remember his sense of humor and the lovely connection you both had with my parents.
