Not sure what to say?

I loved Uncle Ralph so much and enjoyed the visits to his home in Palo Alto and many visits he, Jean, and the kids would make to Napa.

Very nice wedding photo in 1961 of Uncle Ralph and Jean.
Uncle Ralph with Dad in 1982 is priceless.

Libby home and redwood tree planted by Ralph in 1971

I am remembering Ralph Libby today, December 16, 2014 which is our 52nd wedding anniversary. You and the tree you planted are here with me at our home.

Mr. Libby was an exceptional reference librarian. Living close to the Main Library I was always going over there to get books. He was a kind, gentle and nice person who really helped me find the books I needed to do my homework. This was during the time of the card catalog -- eons ago. I could always count on him to help me. He was always at the library. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family.

I will forever have fond memories of my Great (in both senses of the word) Uncle Ralph. Your devotion to your family, your love of books, and your zest for life were truly inspiring.
