Not sure what to say?

From my childhood to young adulthood my time with Uncle Mac and our families would fill a book with tears and lots of laughter, intrigue and suspense as he took us on camping trips, fishing, boating and storytelling in other words, a Best Seller. I will always remember the good times. Chuck

I was sadden to hear Uncle Ralph has passed away when I got in from work last night in Bremerton, Wa. I was so lucky to know him. Thought, love & prayers go out to Maureen, Meg, Mark, Michael & Mary. Hugs & prayers, Mary Lou McCarty Coyle

Ralph will always be in my heart. From the 'Hello Sweetie' to the familiar chuckle to the aggravating quirks. All of it is what I'll remember about Ralph. I still have my ticket from the last Rolling Rock Race in Ligonier that he took his 'office girls' to in the convertible Lincoln! What fun! He was a hoot. I'll never forget him. Thanks for the memories Ralph.

Jan and I send our condolences. It was indeed a priviledge to know Ralph. What a terrific story teller; always enthusiastic and always ready to tell of another another adventure! A great person for sure and a tremendous friend to everyone he came in contact with. God Bless you Ralph as you begin your next great adventure.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

My condolences to all the members of the McCarty family on the passing of such a wonderfull and unique man.

Ralph made Albright W.V into the center of the rafting universe.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your Grandfather. He was an amazing man and lived a full life. He was lucky to be surrounded by such a loving family. All our love to the McCarty family.

Ralph was a great guy with a wicked sense of humor and style. We will miss him and his stories!

To Mike, Mark, Linda, Mary and the entire McCarty Family... Ralph was to Adventure Tourism what Steve Jobs was to personal computing. I will always remember my first day of my guiding career on the Cheat Narrows watching him drive from put-in to take-out in his AMC Hornet. I was nervous, because I thought he figured out that I was only 17, and not old enough to guide. My career decision to start my own whitewater company on the Niagara has been deeply rooted by the visionary Ralph has been......
