Ralph J. Moccaro, age 83, of Greenbriar Woodlands, Toms River, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at home. Born in Staten Island, he lived in Lakewood and Hazlet prior to moving to Toms River 10 years ago. He worked as a Risk Insurance Manager for EnSearch Inc. in New York City prior to retiring. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Ralph was a parishioner of St. Luke's RC Church in Toms River and he loved to play golf.
Ralph was predeceased by his daughter Margaret Waters in 2010 and his sister Janet Kalries. He is survived by his wife Rosalie (Mansueto) Moccaro of Toms River; three sons Francis Moccaro of Hazlet, John Moccaro and his wife Suzanne of Middletown; Andrew Moccaro and his wife Denise of Howell; one daughter Rose Keefe and her husband Kevin of Massachusetts; one brother Paul Moccaro of Toms River; and 13 grandchildren.
Visiting hours are Sunday, March 20, 2016, from 4 – 8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Highway 88, Brick. A funeral mass will be offered on Monday at 10:30 am at St. Luke's RC Church, Toms River, followed by interment at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
