Williams Funeral Home, Inc. - Augusta Obituary

Ralph Cleveland Mohoney Jr. entered into rest on Thursday, November 11, 2021.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at B. A. Willliams Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m.   Ralph C. Mohoney Jr. was born on September 14, 1961 at Scott Air Force Base Illinois, to Edna and Ralph C. Mohoney Sr.  Mr. Mohoney, affectionately known as “Moe”, was preceded in death by Ralph C. Mohoney Sr. (Father), Jessie Mahoney (Uncle), Chrissy McRoy (Aunt), and John Graves (Brother-in-Law).  Moe enjoyed people and people enjoyed him. He loved to travel and did so in the military. He served in the military from 1980-1992, as a Logistics Specialist, where the Army sent him around the world to Germany, Turkey, Kuwait, and numerous places across the United States. He received numerous awards and medals. His love for the service continued as a Military Contractor for over 20 years.  He love tinkering with any and all things. As he would say “Jack of all trades, master of none”. He loved spending time with family of course watching his favorite football team the “Redskins”. Moe always lived life to the fullest, and on his own terms, all the way to the end. “HIS WAY”  Moe was a loving, caring, giving husband, son, father, brother, grandpa, uncle, and friend.  He will be deeply missed and leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife, Patricia Mohoney; mother, Edna Mohoney; his brothers, Right-on Mohoney (Bridgett), Brian Mohoney; sisters, Vicki Graves (John), Sharon Mohoney (David Clemons), Deja Eini (Chayim); Children, James Mohoney IV, Christion Mohoney, Ana Mohoney, Tasha Hicks, Aaron Wells, Antonio Baldwin; along with numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

                                                “Missed, LOVED and Cherished"

There will be a viewing on Friday from 1-5 p.m. Please continue to wear masks and practice social distancing.

Not sure what to say?

You will be TRULY MISSED THE PHILPOTS...

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

I love you daddy

I come to have known Mr. Mohoney over the years when he arrived here at Fort Hood, Texas in the late nineties to replaced Mr. Dave Watson as the Site Manager/Supervisor with Nation/BTG Company. I was temporarily assigned to BAE Systems in the Installation Yard supporting to both PMO TRCS to perform checks on SINCGARS platforms with the used of a BANDIT equipment. His management & arthodox style was unique in fairness to all his co-workers even if it wasn’t worked related. I find him...

Thank you for the greatest gift ever given to me, our boys. I will miss you cassanova

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

My condolences to the whole family. He will be missed. RIP my dear friend.

Thank you for your friendship and mentoring. I love you Brother.
