Ralph B. Parks, Jr.

PARKS, Ralph Byron, Jr. – Of Burton, age 81, died Friday, June 12, 2020 at his residence.

Private visitation will be held at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Private funeral service will be held at Calvary Community Church, Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.

Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.

Ralph was born in Flint, Michigan on September 19, 1938, the son of the late Ralph and Catherine (LeBrie) Parks.

He married the love of his life, Judith Teal on February 7, 1959 and she preceded him in death on January 21, 2019.

He loved to play the guitar; and loved to hang out with his little buddy, his dog, Louie.

He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.

Byron was employed by GM at Chevrolet Manufacturing for 38 years.

Surviving are children, Gwenn (Eddie) Feliciano, Nancy Parks (Tom), Carmen (Ed)Lawson, Scott (Lorraine) Parks and Michael (LeAnn) Parks;

15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren;

brothers and sisters, Gary, Greg (Pam), Deborah (Ron) Wilbur, Dawn Rachner and Vaughn (Kellie).

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill and Vincent Parks; sister, Mary Parks.
