Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences to all who knew Andy. I met Andy in Columbus, Ohio in 1994. He was in front of my office, painting the scene. We became friends and golfed together many times. I remember him driving the golf cart and driving it partially off a bridge throwing my clubs into the creek below. I am glad to have known him. I have 3 paintings hanging in my home. Rest in peace, my friend.

Memories the Richard's family at Mardi Gras are wonderful. My thoughts and prayers are with y'all.

Andy and I took art lessons while we were at Westland, Andy was an incredible artist, I am lucky to have known him.

You added spice to everyday life, my long term friend!

I am so sorry to learn that Andy is no longer with us. When he was hitting "on," his paintings were indeed beautiful and handsome! One of my all-time favorites was his rooftops, which hung in the offices of-the director of the Museum of-the City of Mobile. For me, it captures beautifully the feeling of the downtown area of the town. And I enjoyed his laid-back company and conversation.

My parents and brother, Gene, Helen & Stewart Ashbee had many memorable and fun golf outings with Andy. All of us were blessed with some of his art displayed in our homes. He was a true character, and I was honored to know him, and extend condolences to the family Erk Ashbee

I had the pleasure to be Andy´s friend and cohort on so many projects in mobile and New Orleans!, one of the most talented I´ve ever known!, you will be missed by all of your art buddies. RIP jeanne weeks taylor

During the years that Andy and I both lived at a retirement community we were very close. I enjoyed watching him draw and paint, and rejoiced with him when one of his paintings sold. I love to sing, and often Andy and I would sing together. We knew many of the same songs. I have no family here, and Andy often included me in his family's gatherings. Andy was a remarkable man, like no other I have ever known. Although he left us much too soon, I and many others will treasure the time he shared...

Andy was a long time friend and an amazingly talented artist. His legacy of work will bring joy for generations to come.
