I had the privilege and honor of being trained by Ralph to be his sub on Rural Route 8 in Normal. I left the rural routes to carry on the city side, but always considered Ralph as my mentor and one of the best mailmen I ever had the pleasure to know.

I cut Ralph´s hair for many years and truly enjoyed talking to him and listening to amazing stories. My sympathies to his family for his passing, he was a true American hero
