Not sure what to say?

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I was saddened to recently learn of Ralph Samlowski's death. We started OSU Med school the same year and later were in the same residency program. He was one of the more adventurous with residency team building and the first time I was white water rafting was with that small group in W.Virginia. Ralph later taught some of us how to wind surf at Alum Creek. He was so fun when fun was to be had and serious and wise when dealing with patients and medical decision making. It is so hard to...

A very belated entry as I just learned of Sam's passing in the OSU Med College journal. I was a classmate of Sam;s at OSU from 84-87 and was very glad to have made his friendship. He was always smiling and very positive in his attitude toward even the most difficult tasks. I recall hearing him tell us how it took him several attempts to get accepted into OSU med school and oh how lucky they were to have him. Ralph and family, I wish you well.

Dr. Sam was an excellent physician, superb mentor and a great human being. His untimely demise is a great loss for his patients and for scores of students and residents who could have benefited from his knowledge. I will forever cherish his words of wisdom and remember his infectious smile.

Dr. Sam took great care of my parents for so many years. God bless you.

Ralph was such a thoughtful and caring person. We will always miss his big smile, twinkling eyes and quick wit. He was the kind of person that impacted the life of everyone that had the privilege of knowing him.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

He was a skilled and compassionate physician. He was always helpful and contributed to making patient care better. He was a joy to work with. He will be missed by all who knew him. My condolences and prayers to his family.
