My deepest sympathy. Ralph was a well respected teacher and an amazing person. On behalf of R-P, rest in peace, Ralph. You made a difference in so many lives!

Dear Judy and family - I met Ralph in 1970 at Central Elementary School. It was my first year as a sixth grade teacher and Ralph was my supervising teacher. It was my fortune to have him as my role model for teaching and for how to treat others. He will be missed by many but always remembered for the kind soul that he was. R.I.P. So saddened to hear about Mr. Trautner´s passing. Back before Covid came around I knew him first as a teacher and then at Seniors in North Muskegon at the church in town. My mother Carol Peterson attended Seniors and sometimes I could bring her with me cause I took the day off. I got to meet many nice people there including your father and his wife. He usually was the one to spin the wheel when we played bingo and he made it fun with his humor/personality. We all were so sad when they shut...

I had Mr. Trautner at Laketon back in the 60's and these many years later still have fond memories of him. He was a kind, patient teacher. Lisa Payne (Pedler)

Our family loved this man and his family. Ralph and John taught together at Central Elementary and they were also golf partners for many years with the RP teachers´s league. My son Mark and Ralph and Judy´s son Mark were very good friends in school. Ralph was kind, personally fun, a great teacher and an example on how to live. RIP Ralph.
