Not sure what to say?

Mary and Sons,

We were out of town and just read your note in the bulletin.
We are so very sorry to hear about Ralph. He was a great guy. We enjoyed your company at Johanna's wedding.
Our thoughts and prayers.

I will always treasure memories of visiting with Ralph and Ray in the DSOB. It is hard to imagine politics and Washington without him.

Ralph was a very special man. A true gentlemen who exemplified the "good" side of politics. We will miss him. My condolences to Mary and the boys.

Ralph was one of the best of us. We will miss him. But we can also thank God that we got to share him.

Ralph's puckish humor, gentle caring, and honest wisdom have stayed with me my whole life. His presence in it made the world better.
