Not sure what to say?

Grandfather,
The date is fast approaching to close you legacy. I was going to let it continue, but it seems to me all has been said. I will gently close the pages of your life with the dignity you so deserve. I love you. My dear, sweet Daddyboy. And so the chapter ends...
Your little girl,

Daddyboy,
Today is Fathers' Day-also Grandfathers' Day. I missed sending you a card from the boys. I missed hearing your voice. The days are going by and I realize my loss is greater than I could have ever imagined. I realize my mothers' side-is now together. I give you my love, daddyboy. I miss you. You will be forever loved. Losing you has brought back so many of my youngest memories. I will always remember you holding my hand and telling me I was your little girl. I will forever be...

To my Grandfather whom I gave the special name of "Daddyboy" when I was just a little girl and whom my Grandmother- aka "Mamagirl" thought was so cute to call this Man of Honor such an adorable name! If the USAF only knew he was this gentle giant!
I will miss you. I will miss hearing your voice. Who knew that one of your favorite songs was also mine. I know you are in that special place where there is no longer any pain. May you rest peacefully. a·mein/Amen

May 28 - The funeral went well. There were about 25 people in attendance, including two rabbis from Temple Rodef Shalom, where Ralph was a member. Colonel and Mrs. Frank Cohn and Colonel and Mrs. Max Kovel represented the Fort Belvoir congregation, where Ralph had attended for many years. Friends and colleagues who knew him from his years in the military...

I love you Daddy Boy
You will be with me forever
Love Always

Daddy Boy was so special to me, that I'm not sure I could put into words how I feel. You will be surley missed so very much. He made my heart whole after so many years of emptyness. You will be with me always to carry me through the good times and the not so good times. You gave me the gift of life and for this I will always be grateful. All my love Daddy Boy Always.....

Ralph was a wonderful, caring man. We were lucky enough that he married a beautiful woman, our Grandmother, Winifred. He touched our lives in more ways than one could ever know. Whether by military, being an incredible husband to Winifred, or just being a Grandfather. Ralph, you are truly missed and we will love you always.

I will remember Ralph as a real friend, a true gentleman and a fellow artist. He was always kind and had a great sense of humor. Ralph loved his cat and Starbucks. I loved him dearly.
