Rev. Ralph H. Woerner Sr.

Brother Woerner is now with his Lord and Savior. It was under Brother Woerner’s ministry at Westside Alliance Church that I became a Christian at the age of twelve while attending the Labor Day Retreat at Rolling Hills in 1972. All of us truly loved this man and his family. Brother Woerner was a man who was empowered by God and his love for others was clearly evident. I will always be thankful for his ministry in my life.

To the Woerner,and Ezel family and all that loved Bro. Ralph: I shared this poem that I wrote to Joe and Sharon when Jean,Joe's mom,passed away some years back,and now,I would like to share it again as a comfort to those that knew and loved Bro. Ralph and are going to miss him greatly:

Before His Throne

There’s a place
beyond this life
With no sickness,
heartache, and strife.
Praise is continually going on;
Eternally forever-
Before His Throne!

And...

Ralph Woener was the most signicant and influential pastor in my life. A very human man with a heart for God. I will always remember him with the greatest respect admiration, and affection.
