Just heard about Coach Johnson. Coach Johnson was the first real coaching influence on me. He not only taught the game he taught life. May God bless Coach Johnson and my prayers are with the family.

Ralphell Johnson was a blessing from GOD to Odessa and the Blackshear Families. (When GOD calls,we shall answer).Walk by Faith and not sight.

He was my teacher, my neighbor, a member of St Matthew Baptist Church where he helped me prepare numerous inspirational messages and my friend. I called him "Master J" & the great Orator!!! He had the gift of speaking to a crowd, there was none better!! To the family be encouraged, to my friend "Master J"...R.I.P!!!

COACH JOHNSON YOU WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED TO YOUR FAMILY HE IS IN GOD'S HOME HE HAS TOUCHED SO MANY IN LIFE AND PRAY FOR YOU AT THIS TIME

Coach Johnson, your name was so synonymous with the best coach at Blackshear High School, and yes you were the best coach ever. May you rest in peace.
