I moved out of state years ago and I just found out my favorite GI doctor passed away. I'm so sorry for the family's loss. He was a wonderful caring doctor who treated his patients like they were his friends. He will be missed.

Dr Sundaresan is missed , he was one of the BEST Dr at IMMC , he was always there for his patients or anyone who needed medical advise, I miss him in the hallway and stopping me to ask how was I doing and the family. He is greatly missed

It has been more than a year since Dr. Sundaresan passed away and it took me more than a month to find out why his name was not mentioned when I called his office and why there was no answer during his clinic hours. It was very hard for me accept the fact that he is gone. He used to call me ‘Bhayya' ( brother) and I started seeing him when I was going through very rough patch of my life and was constantly in and out of several hospitals in Chicago area. I have been sick since I was 14 years...

Its been over a year and its like it happened yesterday.You made me feel secure,friend first and doctor second.While i have to go thru my sickens on my own i am thankful to have a chance to meet you.

It was a shock to hear the passing of Dr. Sundaresan. I had the chance to know him a little bit while working at Illinois Masonic. It was his caring concern and random acts of kindness that I will always remember and admire. He touched so many people's lives. Dr. Sundaresan was a true example of compassion and generosity. My mother and I extend our condolences to his family and friends.
