Ramon G. Corrales

I was a family therapy post-grad student when he was doing one-way mirror trainings. Judith Wolfe and I were paired, as co-therapists though we had each separately asked Ramon not to pair us with one another. ("Any one but her!") He knew something we did not know; we surely learned a lot from one another ... but we also became close. To each of our surprise, and I am certain to Ramon's, we each started crying when we ended our time together! I am still, to this day, in touch with Judith....

I was a student of Ramon and Larry's right out of seminary. Ramon imparted a deep respect for human beings... their context and their challenges. I use his marriage curriculum to this day with folks who have been long-married or who are preparing for marriage. Without exception they find his offerings empowering and hopeful. Ramon was a beautiful human. His loving guidance has been with me and my family through many good and hard times. I will always remember he and Annabel sharing a lovely weekend with us in Aspen this past summer. Seeing his smiling face with the love of his life was so special.
