FORMER STUDENT REMEMBERS LIFE-ENRICHING EDUCATOR:
AUSTIN, TEXAS: A lifetime ago (in the 1967-1968 school year), I moved from Houston to Dallas with my parents. I moved begrudgingly, as this was my senior year. Thus uprooted, I entered W.T. White, a new public high school with diminished academic opportunities for me compared with what I'd left behind. Back in Houston, I had been an honors student, but with bad grades. I've often wondered what happened to you after you left SOC. Sad to find you here. You were the best teacher and friend I had in high school. You were always available for advice and help.
