Not sure what to say?

My name is Madonna Gannon. Mona was my sorority sister in sigma kappa sorority at Eastern Il University. We remained friends for many years until I stopped hearing from her. My husband and I visited Mona and Herb in Colorado Springs at least three times. The 4 of us always had a great time together. Mona was a wonderful friend with a lot of care and concern. We had a close group of friends and she always was interested in all of us and was very caring toward each of us. She and I talked...

Mona was my good friend and neighbor in the Carriages in Colorado Springs. She was also in our Bible Study at Woodmen Valley Chapel. We think of her often and miss her sweet presence. She was so good at recycling things from her house. I would see in her trash barrel things that looked perfectly good to me but now understand what a help it was to her family who moved them on to Florida. God bless you all.

I have found chiodhood memories of spending time with my dear friend David Entenmann. The highlight was spending the night over his house in Monroe, New York. While there Mona would always ask me how I was doing and cared for me as a person. Mona has passed on the next life with the Lord but her legacy of generosity, love and care will not be forgotten. It lives in in the hearts and minds of those who knew her and were impacted greatly by her life.

Dear Aunt Mona, for all of my life you have been so beautiful and faithful. What a comfort to trust that you are now in the presence of your Lord Jesus Christ, and that we will see you again.

I remember Herb and Mona hosted a Young Couples gathering early in our marriage and we played the Newlywed Game. It was great fun, and there are many other memories. Herb please know you and the family are in my thoughts and prayers.
