Not sure what to say?

To all the Flynns: My thoughts and prayers are with you. I will always remember Bill for his caring nature and his sense of humor. He taught me much when I lived in Baltimore and worked for OPF. He will be remembered very fondly by many.

Flynn Family: - Please accept my sincere condoloences on Bill's passing - I had expected to attend the funeral today but learned that it was yesterday - Bill and his partners were wonderful people as was evidenced when they were inducted into the Baltimore County Chamber Hall of Fame - it was a lovefest. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Dear Mike and Family, It seems so strange to write you on July 4th, for that is the day in 1977 we moved into our home on Dulaney Valley Road directly across from the entrance to Holly Knoll. And, on that day you and Bill introduced yourselves and welcomed us to the neighborhood. There are the memories of the pool parties at your home as well as the night Bill and 15 other husbands chased our horses through Holly Knoll. What I remember best is the warmth and sincerity you and Bill always...

Dear Mike & Family, So sad to hear of Bill's passing. I worked at OPF for many years and found that he always made time to say hello and ask how you were doing. I remember fondly the company picnics where you opened your lovely home to all of us, working tirelessly to make sure everyone was having a good time. Am grateful I had the chance to see you both again at the OPF get-together recently at the old "Gibby's" location. It's the end of an era for me. Our deepest condolences to you all. God...

30 Years ago I met with Bill Flynn and joined the O'Conor & Flynn family of Realtors through Bill's invitation, and every step of the way he encouraged me with his simple words "YOU CAN DO THIS" Over the years, he was my private mentor. He was always there for all of us...whether it was about family or business. He was good to us in very special ways along our real estate careers. When my father died 8 yrs. ago, he wrote to me and said "I know how close you were to your Dad; just...

Dear "Mike" and Family,

I was saddened to hear of Bill's passing. He was a very special person to so many and I thank all of your family for sharing Bill with all of us. My daughter and I were talking about Bill today and she said "Mom, I remember sitting on Mr. Flynn's lap at a Board function when I was a little girl. He had that special "twinkle" in his eyes and he made me feel special." That was Bill, making everyone feel special. I feel blessed to have know such a...

I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Bill for many years. He was a gentleman, a mentor and a kind, decent person. A truly special guy who will be sorely missed. I am so happy that I got to see and speak with him at a Coldwell Banker function at M&T Bank stadium just a few short months ago. My family's thoughts and prayers will be with the Flynn family as you mourn the loss of an incredible human being.

To all of the Flynn family,
I got to know Mr. Flynn because of his wonderful 60+ year friendship with my mother. She treasured him like another brother. Whenever I was around him, he always was interested in what I was doing - really interested; really listened. That's exceedingly rare in today's self-indulgent world. As others have noted, he was a true gentleman, generous, thoughtful and kind. He epitomizes an old Irish saying: "He is the kind of man that I wouldn't mind being myself"....
