Not sure what to say?

From my years working with Ranch at the Center for the Arts in Jackson Hole, I was just talking about him the other day, regaling my friends with several wonderful moments when he made us laugh or when he managed to bring so many points of view together into a true consensus. I loved working with Ranch and think of him often, as a source of inspiration and joy.

Very moved to receive this reminder of the anniversary of Ranch's death. The Center for the Arts in Jackson Hole is surviving the Pandemic and going strong, thanks to his essential contributions. I think of Ranch often and draw inspiration and good ideas from my memories of him. He continues to help so many of us from his place in the clouds of memory and love.

My thoughts and prayers to you and your family

We were working for years to build an arts center in Jackson and Ranch was the missing piece, the person who made it possible for the idea to actually move into the material world. Without Ranch's help, I don't think the project would have happened.

One of the qualities that was most amazing about Ranch is that he was a person who thoroughly understood both realms -- the realm of idea and vision and imagination and the realm of physical reality, and he could cross the border...

Although Ranch (aka Randy) was my mothers cousin we were never close but I admired him and his father greatly.
My son is named after his grandfather (the original Ranch)who was in turn named after the Kimball Ranch in Kimball and Silver Creek Junction area of Summit County.
A wonderful heritage involved here.
Many regrets and regards to the family.

Of course saddened to hear this news from such a strong spirit. Ranch added a true degree of certainty and astuteness to our efforts in design and construction for the 2002 Olympic Village. He and his brand of talent, wisdom, and tenacity will be missed.

Ranch was a wonderful person to work with. So many challenges in the Olympic effort that he took a personal interest in resolving. Always a gentleman and a pleasure to know and work with. Thanks Ranch for a significant contribution to many of us individually and to all of us in this community.

Josie, you are in my thoughts as you deal with this great loss in your life.

I was saddened recently to hear of the passing of Ranch Kimball. I had the great privilege and honor of meeting Ranch and working with him on our new Teton Science School Jackson Campus Project. Ranch was definitely as excited about the project as we were and his enthusiasm, positive outlook and vast expertise aided greatly in motivating us in moving ahead our project. When his illness prevented him from committing more fully to the project it was as painful a loss for us as it was for him....
