Rest in peace, Randy. You were a great friend.

I recently learned of and was saddened by the news of Rand's passing. Rand and I had many KU undergrad classes together in the late 70's and became friends throughout his Kansas law enforcement career. I will always remember his infectious smile. Rand was a great friend and mentor.

Rest well my friend.The thin blue line has lost a valuable and memorable man.Our days with LPD in Lawrence and our time serving in Florida are days I will never forget.I never had the honor of meeting your wife and children,however I will tell them that you were my friend and that I was honored to have that friendship.We stood together,shoulder to shoulder through so much.Thanks for being there, Gary Browne

Rand was a great man indeed. My prayers are with his family. Rand will be missed; his dynamic presence is with The Lord now. Peace, Love and Grace be with him.
