I played baseball with Randy in 1970 --- American Legion. I went to Campolindo---Randy to Miramonte. We were good friends with a mix of Miramonte and Campolindo baseball players. Randy was well liked by all and fun to be around. I miss his great sense of humor. Bob Smith

Two words to describe my baseball brother "HOOP" CLASS ACT. I was stunned to learn Randy had passed away. Not only was he a brother on the ball field but we had a commonality off he field that we used to discuss in private. I was also please to have made some bats for his son at one time BUT he was one of the most difficult outs I had to get when I pitched against him over the years in the TVMSBL. His knowledge of the game and ability to be a patient hitter was unique, he was a gamer. ...
