Not sure what to say?

Happy 74th birthday, Dad! We love and miss you so much!!

From your "Life Long Buddy" Don..... It's been 1 year now. A wonderful family and friends all know you are in a better place. You'll always be my heart and memories (been 59 years since we first met in Middle School here in Jacksonville). Wanted to post this message from my heart in memory of our long friendship and what lifetime friendship means to me: "Friends like you are hard to find. In a lifetime, you only get a few. And when you find them, you always know them by sight and heart...

What started when we first met in 1961 at Kirby-Smith Middle School in 8th grade turned out to be a life long friendship as "Best Buddies" for nearly 60 years! We met as "Worst Enemies" when your girlfriend (Linda) left you for Me! We'd have harsh words in the hallway and outside until she (Linda) left Me for another guy! We had the biggest laugh on that and became friends for life. Have not stopped laughing together and reminiscing about people, events, relationships and fun times about...

Randy, we were each other's first love. I was so happy to meet you again on Facebook. We filled in the gaps of our 45 year separation. You grew up to be a kind and wonderful man. You left too soon and I'll always remember you.

Randy was married to my sister Margie when I was just a kid. Like all my brother in law's he loved mom's fried chicken but I think Randy liked it the most. Well about anything she cooked for that matter lol. And like her he will be missed and I am glad to have had him as part of my life. RIP bro

Uncle Randy will be greatly missed. He was a son, brother, father, grandfather and my uncle whom I loved very much. As a child I can recall uncle Randy always being around and playing with my sister and I. He lived with us when we were young girls. I recall how he loved his music. He was always spinning records in his room. I used to love listening to his music as it poured through the walls. I also remember he used to tickle me till I would almost pee my pants (haha), he loved the...

I am so sorry that your dad is gone too soon, Pam. Losing a parent is so hard. I pray the memories you have will keep him close. I don't have a lot of my own memories of Uncle Randy but I remember always hearing my mom including him in lots of adventures that my parents and yours had in their younger years.
My favorite memory of him occurred one summer when I came to stay with y'all for a few days.. My stay happened to span his weekend time with you and Cathy. Instead of picking...

Uncle Randy was the sweetest person you could have ever met, he loved to laugh and share stories about family and friends. He loved his kids, his friends and all the people who came and went. A funny story is when he lived with us before he got married, he went to play basket ball in the apartment complex, came back home famished and ate a plate of chicken that was meant for dinner, my mom, his sister came home and lost her mind, it was funny because his reaction and facial expressions...
