Not sure what to say?

Randy - I am planting two more trees in your memory this year and they will tower and flourish for many years to come in memory of you and how wonderful you were. Miss you still and think of you so often. RIP my friend. Bonnie Hewitt

Randy - The trees are growing, the weeping willow is especially large and beautiful. I love you and miss you still.

Randy and I met when we were just kids, so I knew him for 50 years, starting with baseball, then quarter midgets, horse shows and all the fun at Alpenrose. What a lovely person, all his life, to all he met. Such a wonderful, unique and great guy to be around; smart, fun, kind, interesting and so very talented. We were all blessed just knowing him. Thank you, Randy. You are still on my mind and I am planting trees on my farm in your memory. Rest in peace. You are still loved by so many.

I met Randy when we were kids and I drove my Quarter Midget in the races at Alpenrose. Randy was fun, always smiling and a stand out person even when we were young; someone you wanted to know. I grew to learn of his many talents and interests. Later, I would often see him at a Baskin-Robbins where we would visit and catch up. Always, so handsome, outgoing, confident, smiling, pleasant, interesting and nice that he always remembered me as though I was a close friend. He even visited me on...

I just now read of Randy's passing and I am truly saddened. The good of it would be that he is brightening the Hereafter with his gifts of love and friendship. Randy and I met when I was 19 and him 20 years of age. A truly special person, which all knew who had the pleasure of knowing him. Laughter, love, kindness, generosity were just a few of his gifts; GREAT guy I was honored to have as a friend, if for only a few years before I moved away.

Because of Randy, I have beautiful photos of my then baby daughter. He also contributed to the Bend Hero's Foundation to fly WW2 veterans to Washington DC. He was a very generous man, and is missed by all.

Just found out about Randy's passing.
I was moved at the loss even as I had not seen him for years. I first called on him at the Dairy in 1977 we were age wise contemporaries and I sold equiptment to mark everything from cottage cheese to Baskin Robbins Ice Cream tubs and spent much time working with him as new technologies came in and things changed from rubber stamps to computer driven devices. He was a really good guy who treated me and all that i knew well. I had him always in my...

I just found out today about Randy passing last year. I knew Randy during high school and our early years. My mother worked at Alpenrose for 40 years and she thought of Randy as a son. She loved him so much, as did I ! I am just so saddened about this news.

I knew Randy from Little League Baseball. He was a good pitcher and was a very nice kid. My biggest thrill was getting a hit off of him at Stroheckers Field. It was the furthest ball I ever hit. Carl I am sorry to hear about your brother's death!
