Randall David “Randy” Eskildsen, age 48, of Smyrna passed away suddenly on Friday, February 1, 2019. He was a native of Berwyn, IL and a US Army veteran who served in Iraq as a tank driver. He was currently employed by Mid-South Bus Center in Murfreesboro.


Graveside service will be 11:00am Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.


He is survived by his parents, Richard and Linda Eskildsen of Smyrna, son, Matthew Eskildsen of York, PA, brother, Richard Eskildsen and his wife Jody of Upper Arlington, OH, niece, Jane Eskildsen, nephew, Ben Eskildsen, mother of Matthew, Anna Stabley of York, PA, aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving family members.


In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in his memory.


Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 pm Wednesday and from 10:00 until 11:00am Thursday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. 615-459-3254. www.woodfinchapel.com

I went to Iraq with Randall. He was a hard worker and always in good spirit. A good Soldier and a good man. I am glad to have known him.
