Not sure what to say?

Though I already posted fond remembrances of Randy, I have one more to offer. One of his light-hearted sayings was "By the grace of God and a fast infield...(such and such will happen)". I've used that phrase occasionally in my life experience and when I do, I can't help by to mentally credit Randy for saying it first.

We've just returned from the memorial service honoring Randy. This celebration of his life was so beautifully commemerated by Jennie, Lucy, Eric and Rev. Buck Day, with touching words about his wonderful humor, brilliant mind, adventuresome spirit and big heart. We will miss you, cousin Randy, and know that Jane will be well as she will be surrounded and comforted by her many church friends and loving family.

Mr. Hansen, I will always remember your kind words of encouragement and support over the years. Your friendship to our family is irreplaceable and will be deeply missed. With love.

Randy was one of the people I liked most to work with at Control Data. He always had a smile and a great sense of humour. We had some good times together.

Jane, Eric, Lucy and Jenny,
It was my pleasure to know Randy over these last seven years. He took the time to listen and to share his stories, something I looked forward to. His great love of his family was always apparent in his actions and conversation. He will be missed but he gave us his stories to remember him by.

Love - Joe

Randy was a delightful person to work with at Control Data. I worked in association with him for several years when he was involved with Control Data's Education Industry. He was great with customers and employees alike. The last time I saw him was at a Twin's game in the dome several years ago. It was senior day and we were both running the bases after the game. What a treat to have seen him then.

God bless the Hansen family in this time of bereavement.

Randy, we shall never forget you! Check up on my mother & Hanbing's father thanks - and save us a seat. See you shortly my friend.

Aunt Jane, Jenny, Lucy and Eric,

You are all in our thoughts and prayers during this time of grief. We will all miss Uncle Randy and rejoice in his memory.

Love,

John and Diane Cannon

Eric and Family,

We are so sorry for your loss and the sadness that is brings to you all. Take some comfort in the wonderful and heartfelt memories people are sharing about your dad. That is quite a tribute.
Love, Bill and Jim
