Memories and Condolences
for RANDALL KELLY

Not sure what to say?

April 23, 2013

Dear Jeanne, Karen, and the whole Kelly family,

Our families have intertwined since youth. Yours without
the "e" in Kelley, ours with the "e."

I, Gigi, remember your big house in Leawood and I loved
going there as a kid. We played in the creek, we
caught crawdads, and i, being so competitive, thought
I caught the biggest crawdad, which turned out to be a snake.

I remember with amazement all the children running all over the house and the downstairs playroom, hiding places, and
Randall's hunting dogs.

I did not make it to the wake or the Mass, but I will
not forget your mom or dad, nor I will forget
being so much a part of your lives.

All those memories are happy: they are grand
and forever, and I am so sorry to have missed the
final calling home for Randall.

Jeanne, I miss you. We always promise to get together,
but days race ahead, and for whatever reason, days
pass and we don't see one another.
Let's change that. I would love to see you again.
My email is: [email protected] and tele
is 913-384-3301. Please call and know that
I am sorry for one of the greatest losses of your life.

Gigi

Randall was a friend of my dad's. I always wondered how they knew each other. My dad also graduated from Rockhurst College with a degree in physics. Dad died in 2010. I'm sure they're sharing memories. They both lived long wonderful lives. Let those memories comfort you at this time.

Sorry about your loss - but you have so many wonderful memories. We remember a special time when Betty and Randall visited our ranch with Chris. I'm sure Betty will remember our "long walk" after I put the front wheel in a hole! And we still laugh about it - glad someone came along to give us a ride - finally! We also remember, with fondness, our visit to your home and the wonderful hospitality. You made us feel a part of your family. And we still consider Chris a part of ours.

So sorry for your loss. He was an unforgetable individual and he will be missed. Randall was a superb father, fisherman and master joke teller. God bless.

From the Office of Ross Headley DDS: This saddens all of us! We loved seeing Mr Kelly at his dental visits. Hearing about his fishing trips in Canada, and how much he loved going. His eyes would sparkle as he talked about these trips. A very sweet and gentle soul. He was a long time patient with Ken Rogers and then Ross Headley. We will miss his visits here. God Bless you all in your time of sorrow. May the many memories you have comfort you.
