Not sure what to say?

We are soo sad to hear of the passing of our Beloved "Bishop Mackey". He was out Bishop in our married student ward at the U of U. We absolutely loved getting to know he and Margaret and his beautiful family during that time!! We especially enjoyed having Marjorie and David join us as youth in our student ward. The Mackeys were incredible mentors to us and they loved us and treated us like their own. We loved being around them and going to their home for activities. We are so grateful for...

Our family is so very sorry for the loss of Randall. As a father-in-law to our son, Brad, and our 5 grandchildren that we shared, he was so very kind and ever attentive. He was such a gentle and sweet man to the children and had such a great interest in all they were about. He always encouraged our son in his endeavors and included Brad in the family like one of his own. It was my great pleasure to be with him from time to time at special family meals. He always commented on how well his...

I am honored to pay tribute to a true friend of the Sons of Utah Pioneers. Randall served as Legal Counsel for the National Society of the Sons of Utah Pioneers for over seven years. He was indeed a remarkable man with amazing credentials, but I know him as one of my brothers in the Sons of Utah Pioneers. We served on the Board of the Salt Lake Pioneer Chapter together for many years and I remember the great intelligence and insight that he brought to every meeting, but I especially...

Randall was a very special person and a wonderful example of a life well lived. My family and I have known him and his family since Randall and I first became friends at Harvard Business School in 1968. Randall will be greatly missed and leaves the legacy of a loving and gifted family. We offer our most sincere condolences to Margaret, their children and grandchildren, other family members, and Randall's many friends for whom he created a lasting memory and an example for us all. Ron...

Jann and I will be in California next weekend. We wish we could be with the Mackey family as they enjoy a crowd of admiring friends at the funeral. We will miss Randall's loving, gentle smile that always made us feel he cared about us. We are so happy to have known him. Blessings on his wonderful family. Randall and Jann Paul

To Margaret and all the kids: Randall and I became friends fifty-five years ago when he first came east to attend Harvard Business School. We always got together both in Salt Lake City (fond memories of lunches with his grandfather Warshaw), and in Boston. For many years he stayed with me during his regular trips to attend Harvard Alumni Association meetings. Through him I met most of the students he initially interviewed in Utah who pursued their academic careers here. During that time...

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always. Such treasured memories of shared time when in Oxford

I became acquainted with Randy over 50 years ago. He was impressive in everything he did. He had a stellar reputation as a lawyer. He will be missed by many. Condolences to his wonderful family.

Randall was (is) a great man. I remember with fondness his service in the 25th Ward at the University 4th Stake many years ago. My best to his wonderful family!
