Not sure what to say?

Ed and I were very sorry to hear of Randy's passing. Ed use to run into him down at Oregon Steel Mills when he was working on their doors and would spend a few minutes visiting.

Randy was my 1st cousin-our dad's being brothers.

I have great memories of visiting at their farm in Warren when I was a kid. I remember us kids in the Summer playing in the creek below their property and playing hide and go seek in the barn for hours. I remember aunt Marge in the kitchen...

Randy was a great guy! I had the pleasure of working with him for over 10 years during the 90s. he will be missed!

To all who knew Randell,

He was my Mom's cousin and though I never met him, she saw him about 15 years ago at a family picnic. She also remembers going to their farm where he grew up when she was a kid and has great memories. He looks just like my uncle Ray Stafford. We are thinking of everyone who knew him and misses him. Also, we would like to acknowledge his service in the Air Force and appreciate all he did for our country.

I also didn't know his name, but spoke with him many times on Rentenaar Road. He had great patience and would remain there most of the day, and his patience was frequently rewarded with views, and photos, of great birds. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing.

I never knew his name but often chatted with the "photographer at the end of Rentenaar Road". I will miss him.

It grieves me to know that we have lost one of the greatest examples of a fun loving prankster I have ever met. He was just a joy to be around; a one man show.

Randy was a great guy to work with. He knew his job well and will be missed.
I'll always consider him a friend.
My thoughts and prayers for his family at this time.
God Bless

I met Randall while out photographing birds on Sauvie Island. It was my first attempt at photographing birds on the island. He was the nicest person you could imagine. He spent so much time telling me his secret places to go and when to be in various locations. I ran into him several times since that first meeting over a year ago. I could have talked to him for hours. He will be missed.
