Not sure what to say?

I knew Mr. Walters when I played baseball with Matt growing up in Northbrook. He was at every game and a great supporter of his family and the town.

I was much saddened to hear of his loss. The thoughts and prayers of my family go out to you all.

Linda, Matt and Lacy,
We were truly saddened to hear of the loss of Randy. He was a great guy and a cop's cop. Having worked with him from the MEG days in the early 70's and throughout our careers, he was someone for whom I had tremendous respect, as did the officers and communities in which he worked. I only wish that our paths had crossed more often after he retired from Northbrook PD.

Please accept our condolences on your loss, and let us know if we can help in any way.

Linda, Lacy and Matt
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Take comfort in knowing that he suffers no more. Your happy memories will keep you strong.

I knew Chief Walters professionally for about nine years. During my career I have worked with hundreds of Chief and Sheriff’s from around the State of Illinois. Chief Walters was a leader among leaders. Chief Walters was responsible for turning a small Mchenry County Police Department into a well-respected public safety organization. As a resident of Huntley for six years and a first time homeowner, I knew that because of Chief Walters’s leadership my home and family would always be safe...

My sympathy to the Walters family. I knew Randy as a fellow law enforcement officer when I was with the FBI. He loved to attend our annual golf outings. I regarded Randy as a true professional and a credit to law enforcement. He will be missed.

We mourn the loss of a law enforcement leader and brother. Our condolences to the Walters family, the Huntley PD family, and the Northbrook PD family.

Linda, Lacy and Matthew:
When we received the news today of Randy's passing, we were in shock. We are very sad from the news. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love, Kenny and Sandy

All my love and sympathy to you. May he rest in eternal peace without anymore pain.
