Not sure what to say?

He was a wonderful, caring and loving friend!

Sorry to hear this! Lived on Ridge Top Road as did Cary; he graduated a few years behind me!

Bill I´m so sorry to hear about Cary and your loss. He was someone that I worked with for only a short period of time, but developed a life long relationship with. Still to this day I will use a phrase he once used in a conversation between us at the DMA in DC. Oh, how I´ll miss "Dr.Cook" and his wonderful laugh. He shared a birthday with my father, so I always made a point to call him on his b day. He made a difference in my life, as I´m sure he did with countless others. Hang in...

I was so sad to hear of Cary's passing; he was a true inspiration and will always hold a special place in my heart. He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed. Bill, may you find peace and comfort. There are no words that truly express the pain of your loss, but you are loved.

Bill, I´m so sorry to hear of Cary´s passing. I know you truly loved him, and hope you can celebrate the 53 years you spent together.

Dear Bill - I am so sorry - sending my deepest condolences. You and Cary were great friends, neighbors, and inspiration to me and many others. Sending much love.

Dear Bill....It is hard to know what to say to the guy who literally saved your life! So, thank you for sharing Carey with us over all of our years together. I am so grateful for Carey's guidance to my sobriety. I owe mine to him and to you for all your encouragement. I know he will rest in peace. I am grateful that he will no longer have to live in the confusion of dementia. Thank you both for sharing the greatest years of our lives. Peter and Barbara

This news makes me so sad. My deepest condolences to you Bill. I have to say thinking of Cary--and you--makes me smile. You both introduced me to Border Collies, a dog breed that still shares our home. Cary married us, made us laugh, and made us think. I will always treasure our friendship. I just pulled a new recipe for banana pudding from the NY Times and am going to make a batch in his memory.

I'm saddened to hear of Cary's passing Bill. While it has been a while since I saw him (and you as well), I remember fondly the bond you shared, his passion for what mattered most to him, and the warmth and smile he always greeted you with. So happy the two of you found each other and the love and life you shared. My deepest condolences on Cary's passing. May his memory be a blessing to all.
