BEST, Randy L. Sr., "Jackie Boy," 59, passed away February 9, 2012. Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Mollie Best; grandmother, Julia B. White; and grandfather, Lamb Best. He is survived by his two devoted children, Randy Jr. (Thalia) and Keitasha A. Best; three grandchildren, Jordan, Justin and Raegan; sister, Grace Walker (Harry L.); and niece, Angela Patton (Raymond); uncle, Curtis Best (Lucy); and cousin, Curtis Jason Best; two goddaughters, Crystal and Maia Thompson. Also cherishing his memory are ex-wife, Narcissa Best and a host of family and friends. The earthly remains will rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull Street, where funeral services will be held Saturday, February 18, at 11 a.m.

I remember Jackie Boy as a child growing up in the Hickory Hill area. He was my mother's (Ruth Hill) paper boy. When ever Jackie Boy would come to collect his money for the week he would always show us how well he could dance like James Brown. The Hill family extend our c ondolences to the Best family.
