Randy Clark Coyle, 64, of Pisgah, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Burgess Health Center in Onawa, Iowa. Per Randy's request, there will be no memorial services at this time. Instead, Randy wants his friends and family to gather in the Pisgah Park this summer to have a celebration of his life – and that's just what we will do. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service in Onawa, Iowa. Randy Clark Coyle was born on March 14, 1952 in Pisgah, the son of Clark (Jake) and Izetta (Chedester) Coyle. He graduated from West Harrison High School in 1970. From early on, Randy had a love for playing the drums and he was involved in jazz band, swing band, marching band and eventually getting together with a group of guys that formed the band "Sensation". They played on the west coast and in Canada. They were a very popular local band and everyone enjoyed their yearly Cornstock parties. Randy was a master electrician and worked for REC in Woodbine for 25 years. He retired February 14, 2014. Randy loved his family and friends so very much. He also had a passion for Harley Davidson's, corvettes, boating on the river, camping, fishing, John Wayne movies, and Batman. Survivors include his loving fiancé Robann of Pisgah, IA; four children, Randy (Angie) Coyle of Omaha, NE, Michele (Shawn) Dugan of Omaha, NE, Dana Coyle of Whiting, IA and Travis (Mollie) Larson of Onawa, IA; one brother, Ron (Louise) Coyle of Danbury, IA; one sister, Myrna (Gordon) Glennie of Mondamin, IA; six grandchildren, Christian, Devon, Breanna, Markie, Somia, and Allanah; two great-granddaughters; and his faithful dog, Toby, as well as many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clark (Jake) and Izetta (Chedester) Coyle. Cards may be sent to Randy Coyle family, P.O. Box 164, Pisgah, IA 51564. Had many adventures with Randy growing up half a block away. Favorite memories are of the jazz band Mr. Erickson helped us start in 6th grade. We continued throughout Jr. High with Randy, Kurt Jungck, Kim Bolte, Terry Hamer, Rick Dilley, brother Garry and me. We were happy and proud to see the Pisgah Jr. High Jazz Band continue on for another 25+ years. Randy was very talented and dedicated to his music and very talented in many other ways, too. He was a good man, thoughtful and...

Thinking of you Robann, and Randy's family. I met Randy for the 1st time over the phone via text messaging when he asked me to help plan a birthday party for Robann. It was then I seen how kind, caring, and generous a man he was. Rest in Peace my friend.
