Read MoreI was 9 years old and living in Chicago when Randy Duncan capped the 1958 season winning the Big Ten and then winning the Rose Bowl. Was fascinated by his play even though I wasn't able to see many Iowa games but followed thru the newspapers.
Sorry to the family for their loss on a person who many described as a great man to know.

I am sending my love and condolences to Paula and family. For all who had the privilege to know Randy knew an intelligent, funny, fun and friendly guy. Mark and I got to know him well at both Roosevelt HS and at Iowa U. I feel honored to have known him. May he rest in the Lord's precious peace. You were a great guy Randy!
