Not sure what to say?

Randy Gilbert was a great UNC teammate of mine. His disposition, both on and off the field, was exemplary. He was loaded with a sense of purpose. He was great fun too, always his blue eyes sparkling, a finest gentleman. "Be The Best," that´s Randy Gilbert!

I was so sad to hear of Randy's passing. I knew him at Carolina and had the good fortune of seeing him a few times across the years. He always made me laugh. Randy will be greatly missed.

To the entire Gilbert family, we share your sadness in Randy's passing. Like each one of you, he was a good, decent person, and an absolute pleasure to spend time with. We pray you can find comfort and solace during this challenging time.

To Lois and all of the Gilbert family, I am so sorry for your loss. Randy was so full of life and such a truly special person.
As one of Randy's roommates and teammates at UNC, I have great memories of the time we spent together. Randy was a fierce competitor, but most importantly, he was a true friend. I will miss him greatly, but cherish the memories of our time together.

To the Gilberts and extended family: I knew and loved Randy as a friend many years ago at Carolina. I loved watching him on the lacrosse field, but I loved more just being around him. He was a wonderful guy and, although I haven't seen him in years, I've thought of him often. We are all lucky to have known him. Please know that you all are in my thoughts.

I love you hon, and I know you live on in a perfect place because I feel your presence, your love and your comfort surrounding me. Meet you on the dance floor.

A team mate on the football & lacrosse field Randy was one tough competitor. We had a special connection and I was glad to see him at a soccer game some years back. Hope to see him again and catch a "look-in" pass as his tight end on the next playing field. God Bless him and his family - all the best!

To all the Gilbertd and extended family, we are so sorry to hear of your great loss. Our hearts goout to your family and other friends.

I first met Randy when he was assigned to San Francisco by United States Line and became my Freight Sales Representative during my employment with Chevron Chemical Company, Oronite Additives Division. He was always a gentleman, and a warm and wonderful person.
