Not sure what to say?

Impossible to believe 10 years have passed. Randy´s many contributions and indomitable energy still resonate in dance studies as strongly as ever. Thankful for all he taught and shared with us.

Always grateful for Randy´s inspiring thinking about dance.

Will miss his funny, warm generous spirit.
Heart felt condolences to his wife and children.

Randy was a dynamo--a lightning fast thinker with the energy to inspire so many of us in the dance field. I'll never forget the first time I met him 25 years ago, and his megawatt energy and passion for dancers and dancing, something he always sustained.

Randy was a great teacher, mentor, and friend. He always had a solution to any problem and situation. He was full of ideas and full of good will and energy: always willing to help. This is indeed a terrible loss: for Randy's family and friends, and for the academic world. May his soul rest in peace.

I don't know anyone who has watched Randy teach, lecture, dance, discuss, or who has read his books, who hasn't expressed the thought that here is a truly golden spirit. Sohnya Sayres--

Randy was so generous, so playful, so full of love and life. He was such a rigorous scholar and so creative. Always an improvisor in the deepest sense of responding and being with the world. We will all miss him so much.

Our warmest thoughts and deepest sympathy are with the Martin Family. We are praying for you Ginger, Oliver, and Sophia :)

A wonderful person, and a committed radical activist. It's terrible to have lost him so young.
