Randy L. Meeks

When I first met Jeanne and Randy, they drove me home one evening. I lived in a large apartment building in Sterling, and the walkway to the front door was long. Before I could say Goodbye, Randy announced that he was going to walk me to the front door. Having lived in Chicago, I replied ,"That's ok, I'll be fine." He was not taking no for an answer! I'll never forget the way I felt in that moment. I was valued and honored and protected.

Seems I have known Randy and his family my entire life. What a great person and father he was! I remember so many times the kids would poke their heads in the barber room and tell dad, we´re going fishing! So sad to hear of his passing. So many will miss this great conversationist, his sense of humor, his willingness to share his knowledge of so many subjects.
