Randy Simmons

It was really hard for me to go on this page, knowing that I am not able to reach out the Simmons family at the moment. But my sincere condolences since day one. Glad to know Randy's son, Matt. May his legacy live on.

We are honoring you today at our gym. The workout is named in your honor and we will be thinking of your brave sacrifice while we perform it.

Your steadfast altruism and bravery despite the drudgery and violence sometimes present in this society make you an example for police...and men everywhere. You are remembered.

Mr Simmons was a prime example that he was one of Gods Messengers!

Sambo, my man, so many fun times in the 70's. Transitioning from Lion to Huskee and becoming a highly respected Officer for the LAPD. God had a real soldier. Your effort will be felt forever. Kids be proud of your dad. I new him as a kid.
We called him Sambo, they called me Boo Boo. Thanks for doing gods work

Everyday i think of you, i live in Culver City and see where you lay and i say Hi, Randy, and shed a few tears, i will say Hi to you the for the rest of my life......to the family look to GOD.. it will get a liltte easier each day..just knowing he is with GOD, protecting your family from above..Randy i will see you again, because of you i'm trying to be the best i can be one day at a time.

I did not know or have heard of Randy Simmons prior to his death, but his death opened my eyes to all the amazing things he has done for the people and their community he served. This travesty has allowed me to get to know who Randy Simmons really was! His ministry and mission has truly been an inspiration me to.

If you do not know who Jesus Christ was.... Look at the life of Randy Simmons lead, what a great example.

I pray for his family… how hard it must be that he is gone....
