Not sure what to say?

As this year has gone by, remembering times, places and old friends has taken on new meanings. Remembering my friend Randy has taken me back to a lot of those times and places and I wonder how the time could fly by so quickly. I think of him and our times together often doing things like sports, our travel to WVa and others things we did. I will always miss one of, if not my best friend.

I just found out that Randy passed away. I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Randy at Voss Industries for 15 years. We had many laughs together and shared great stories. May he rest peacefully!

Dear family, Just learned of Randy's passing from Bob Aldridge. This is a sad day for me too learn that one of our junior high/high school crew has passed. Man the memories I have of us all playing sports at the YMCA together along with just hanging out over at good ol' William Dean Howells. Randy and I went into the Navy together on the "buddy plan" and spent 10 "wonderful?" weeks together in the hot Florida sun playing recruit sailors. We lost touch with each other as the years went on...

Randy was a very good young man growing up in our near west side neighborhood. He was almost 2 years older than me but was always friendly let me play ball with him and his friends and stopped me from getting thumped a couple times by his buddies. He also taught me how to do difficult dives at the West Side Y. Randy was a excellent swimmer diver and all around athlete, but most of all he was my friend rest in peace brother!
