Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs West, I'm so sorry to hear about Randy and wish I had known earlier. I feel blessed to have known him. From the moment I met him in "the garage", with blacklights on and Three Dog Night playing, I knew he was the coolest person on earth. No one had a more positive impact on me than Randy. I will always treasure our friendship and cherish memories of him.

For Mrs. West and Tobin Greene,

Our sincerest and most heartfelt sympathy. He made it a lot longer than those physicians ever imagined.

Mrs West, I did not know Randy had passed(Patt notified me.) The last email I had received from him was after his treatments and "I am doing fine." Patt, Edna, and I spent many afternoons at "the apartment." I kept track of Randy through Patt, and last saw him and Brian, a few years back, when we had a neighbourhood reunion. People come into the fabrics of our lives and then their shadows fade and disappear, but Randy's face and smile will never be a shadow as I can close my eyes and see...

Mrs. West, I did not know Randy was gone. I loved him so very much. I happened to be working at the hospital in Opelika tonight and looked up his address for a Christmas card and saw this page. To know that I will never see Randy again is so painful. He was my buddy growing up while we were going to Ensley High and after I moved to go to Auburn. My love will never end for him. And all my love to you. You all felt like my family.

Mrs. West
I have worked with Randy for the last 10 years at ADRS. Randy was so funny and lots of fun to be around. He always made you laugh. Randy was a very sweet and kind person to every one. I have enjoyed working with him. He was a very thoughtful person and he will be missed very much at ADRS. It just will not be the same without him. I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers.
Sandy Bittle (ADRS Homewood)

Mrs. West,
Randy and I were great friends back in high school and for some time after. Randy, Larry Wilemon, Oscar Febres Cordera and myself had such fun times together. We frequently came back to your home and Randy's garage apartment to hang out. You were also very gracious with snacks. Randy was truly such a very kind and caring person. I will miss him as many will. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Dear Dene,

My family loved Randy so much. He always came by on Christmas afternoon and brought a lot of Joy to
us. He loved Christmas.
He will never be forgotten and we are better people for having known him. I'll love Randy forever

I was lucky enough to know Randy as a "Squiggly". He visited my home and made it joyful. The next time we see fireworks, we Squillies will say, "Yoooo Randy"! He will continue within our hearts.

Dear Dene,
Randy has been such an important part of my life for the past 10 years. I can't imagine going back to work knowing he will not be back in "his" office. I was like you (and Randy too) always hoping he would be well again. You raised one of the most kindhearted young men that I have ever known, and I know how proud you were of him, as he was of you. He has touched so many lives, and I pray that we all take some of his wisdom and continue to share it with others.
With much love...
