Not sure what to say?

So saddened to have found out so late of Dr O's passing. I was a student doing my internship as a medical assistant, when I made his acquaintance. He taught me so much during my time, I also became a patient. We became very close, he was a father figure but most of all he was a great teacher and great doctor. He will always be in my heart of heart and never forgotten. /Doctor will keep you close in my soul, until we meet again.........love you

My name is Miriam Witherspoon and I recently thought about Dr. Osheroff and thought I would google him. If I am correct about finding the correct Dr. Osheroff, he used to practice in the Northern Virginia area and my mother, W. Elizabeth Baltimore, was his kidney/dialysis patient.I was saddened to hear that he had passed away but know that he is in a better place, still taking care of those around him there. He was such a kind man, a caring doctor, and he was like family to us. I still have...

In fond memory of Dr. Raphael "Raffi" Osheroff. Whose endless humor and brillance will be missed. He was a source of light and compassion to many. He was steadfast in his genious amidst all obstacles. May his good deeds in this world be upon his neshoma. May his memory always be for a blessing. May he rest in peace.

I was a patient of Dr. Osheroff for 15 yrs. He was a renaissance man, a humanitarian and I considered him my friend. He will always hold a place in my heart. Goodbye Dr. Osheroff and God Speed.
My prayers are with you, always.

My family was very surprise to hear the news .DR O just treated my son ,and we got the sad news.. he is gone but not forgotten.... cecil mittoo jr and family- ( Paterson New Jersey )

Mourning the loss of my friend Dr. Raphael Osheroff. Physician, humanitarian, musician, writer, innovator. No problem was too large for his shoulders nor too small for him to lend a caring ear. Regardless of the time of day, nor his personal circumstance, he never turned from the suffering of his patients or friends. For his contributions and, more importantly, for his love, he will be greatly missed. Sincerest condolences to his family.

This is with GREAT sadness to hear today that Dr Osheroff passed away on 3/18/12. This is the passing of a great gentalman who I knew to have great passion for his family, friends, co-workers, and medicine.
I am Dr Zvi Leibovici, the son of Dr Henry Leibovici who passed away on April 16, 2002. My father and Dr Osheroff worked previously together in the Washington DC / Northern Virginia area. I have known Dr Osheroff for over 30 years. He was at my bar-mitzva.
Both, my father (Dr...
