Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure of working at The Moveable Feast during Peter DiLorenzi´s time there, and learned so much from both Ricky and Peter. Her Gorgonzola (or was it Roquefort?) vinaigrette was a standout. The coffee we made there was stronger than anything I´d had short of espresso. The baguettes and croissants made by the bakery were delicious. It was such a gratifying experience being part of the Feast, we were simply carried along by the superlative cuisine that was all Ricky. I think of her...

As a young graduate student at UM School of Music, I was so lucky to bump into Ricky as I started my amateur culinary path. She sent Katherine Curtis to cater our wedding 37 years ago, generating a lifelong friendship. Before Julia Child died, I sat next to her for dinner. She wanted to know who'd inspired me to dig in and learn French techniques; it was Ricky. Ricky answered my questions patiently and with humor, led me to classes and Julia's TV series, and opened my eyes to the...

What a charming, kind and lovely lady. It had been over 20 years ago, I took care of their beloved old dog, Ludwig. She left me items in the frig for me to taste test. I continued to see her and Bernie at UMS events. Blessings to the family.

Years ago I took an informative & fun cooking class from Ricky. In fact,
I still have the printed recipe she gave to us participants. My heart goes out to her family. She will be missed. Carole Rycus

I have such fond memories of Ricky over the years. Moveable Feast catered my wedding 39 years ago this month. A young assistant, Katherine Curtis, was assigned to our account but Ricky's hand in creating an elegant spread for our backyard wedding was always present. Her contributions to the food scene in Ann Arbor helped make our city the wonderful place it is today. May her memory be for a blessing. Hillary Murt

She was an inspiring chef because she loved food, was knowledgeable about it, and loved sharing it with others. I attended several of her cooking classes held in the evenings at her home where several of us would sit around the table in her kitchen and gab about the food and the wine while she was demonstrating a culinary technique. Later, she went on to accomplish a great deal in her culinary career but was unassuming and matter-of-fact about all of it. I always looked forward to bumping...

Ricky was instrumental in my becoming a chef. Whenever she catered for my parents she would let me help and patiently answered all my million questions. She was very special to me. Thoughts out to her family.
