With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Raul Dominguez Magallanes
72, went on to be with our Heavenly Father peacefully surrounded by his
family in Midland on July 18, 2025. He was a beloved husband, father,
grandfather, and friend whose kindness, warmth, and love for family touched
the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly
remembered by all who knew him.
Raul was born on October 11, 1952 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Victoria and Raul
Ochoa.
Raul dedicated more than 35 years of his life working at Midland Farmers Co-
op, where he was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and kind heart.
He had a deep love for the outdoors and took great pride working outside his
home, tending to his garden and caring for his animals. His life was a
reflection of quiet strength, devotion to family, and appreciation for life’s
simple gifts.
Raul is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Celia Magallanes, and a
blended family of six children, Anthony, Joel, Noel, Mark, Steve, and Rina.
Raul also leaves behind five sisters and three brothers, with whom he shared
a lifelong bond. He was a grandfather and leaves behind many
grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and family who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents Victoria and Raul Ochoa.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin. A
viewing will be held Thursday July 24, 2025 from 12:00pm - 9:00pm. With a
Catholic rosary at 5:30pm and Christian prayers service at 7:00pm at
Heavenly Gate Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at Iglesia
Bautista Monte Sinai on July 25, 2025 with burial to follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to their church
family and all who have offered support, prayers, kindness, and generous
meals shared during this difficult time.
