Trinity at Harrison Funeral Home - Harlingen Obituary

Raul Johnston JR, 47 entered eternal rest on August 15, 2025, in Rio Hondo, Texas surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 9, 1977, to Raul Johnston and Maria Fernandez Johnston in Brownsville, Texas. He grew up and was raised in Lyford, TX.

Raul is preceded in death by… His father, Raul Johnston, and aunt Adela F. Johnston.

He leaves behind his loving mother, Maria G Johnston; sister, Bessie Johnston; brothers, George Napoleon Johnston, Johnny Johnston, Ruben Johnston and various nieces and nephews.

Krazy Kramer, like most people knew him, was an outgoing, funny, and overall, a fun guy to be around. He loved going fishing and hunting with his friends. He was not a one place kind of guy. He was the life of the party and had everyone around him laughing the night away.  Kramer was the kind of man that would give you the shirt off his back.

The Family would like to give special thanks to, his niece Julissa Johnston and her husband Clemente Atkinson for caring for him during this difficult journey and in his final days.

Visitation will be held on Friday August 22, 2025, from 1:00 pm -9:00 pm with a prayer of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Trinity Funeral Chapel of the Holy Spirit.

Cremation will follow.

With profound love and remembrance, the family of Raul Johnston JR have entrusted his funeral arrangements to Freddy and Lenny Elizondo, funeral directors/owners of Trinity at Harrison Funeral Home, 1002 East Harrison Ave. Harlingen, Texas 78550.  You may contact us at (956)364-2444 or visit us at www.trinityfunerals.com
