Not sure what to say?

Dear Allen family,
I met Julia when working alongside her with a Healing Wings child, and I thought at first she was the social champion of the family. After meeting Ray and knowing him through Churches Uniting In Christ I know the depth of Ray's conviction to his community.
Never have I met a more gentle man, with the spiritual strength of our Lord's blessings, with which he guided and encouraged us all to be better Christians, and to simply "Love one another."

Julia, my thoughts and prayers have been very close to you lately. I pray that God will grant you the peace and comfort that only HE can give. On behalf of dear Louise McComb, too, I send deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Dear Aunt Julia, Ray, Katherine and Julie.

I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Ray was a true gentleman and one of the finest men I've ever known. I was very lucky too have known him for 37 years. I'll always cherish my memories of him throughout my life, but especially when I was a child. He was always available to spend time with me and take me to the zoo. I really wish I was in Memphis to pay my respects and see you all. You all are in my thoughts and prayers and I love you...

Katherine,
My thoughts are with you,

Julia, my thoughts & prayers are with you & your family! God's peace to you all.

Dear Julia, Ray, Julie and Katherine,
You're each in my thoughts and prayers as you grieve over the loss of your husband and father. Julia, you and Ray have always been special in my heart that reaches beyond our family relationship, for you also gave my son, Robert, so much of your generous love especially during his years at Rhodes College.

The Lord is our Shepherd!
Love,
Carey

Dear Aunt Julia, Ray, Julie and Katherine,

John and I are so sorry to hear about Uncle Ray. I have such fond memories of him going back to the Galloway house in Memphis, summers spent in Castle Park and from all of Aunt Julia's great letters detailing their incredible travels. I know he had a very full life. He was a great uncle to all of us and I am sorry that I didn't get to see him more recently. I think the last time I saw him was at the Quis wedding a few yrs ago and he seemed...

Our prayers are with each of you as you grieve. May your warm memories remain as a glimpse of God. From the friends of Rev. Julie Allen Berger and Bill Berger, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital Spiritual Care Services.
