Ray Stanton Bair

In the late 1940s, before the Union Building was built at Goshen College, I went over to the old wooden gym with my dad and sometimes with Roman Gingerich to watch the men play basketball. The two players I vividly recall were Jim Yoder and Ray Bair. I thought Ray the most handsome man I had ever seen-tall with black hair, a beautiful athlete.

I am so sorry to hear of Ray's passing. I lived across the street from Lillian and Ray on Oxford St They were always very kind to me. Betty Jackson
