Not sure what to say?

I prayed with Ray on Monday afer mowing her lawns. She was a dear friend now in God's arms.

Our condolences to the family of Ray, Les Gabriel's (TX537) childhood sweetheart and first wife. She remained dear to Les' heart and was highly respected within the Gabriel family. As part of her varied life, Ray perpetuated her legendary father's passion with yachting and was a very competent TS16 owner for many years. Although she didn't have any children, she was "Mum" to many at Friends' School boarding in the 1950's and 1960's. RIP.

BALFE, (Gabriel) Ray. - A gentle, caring person, who was a wonderful mentor. A great loss to so many whose lives she touched. Always remembered with affec tion by Elaine Sale.

BALFE, Ray. - Girl Guides Tasmania expresses their sym pathy to the family and friends of Ray Balfe, State Commissioner 1962 - 1967. Ray was an innovative leader of the guiding community in Tasmania. Her legacy includes our campsite Orana and annual Girl Guide biscuit campaign.

BALFE, Ray. - A life long lived, loved and loving. Always generous and interested in others. Rest in peace David and Bev.
