Not sure what to say?

I remember Ray as the most "gentle " man. He will be missed by everyone who knew him!

I was lucky enough to have worked for Ray in Ketchikan. He was a great boss and a sincere friend. They don't come any better than Ray. My condolences and prayers to Carolyn, Ed, Steve and all his family.

The world lost a great man. Condolences to all the family and friends. Ray was always very nice to me and I will never forget the Bloom family kindness in taking me in to live with them for a month after my parents divorced. Ray and Carolyn treated me like an extra son for those weeks and I really enjoyed feeling as a temporary member of your wonderful family. Ray had such a calm demeanor which I really appreciated. He suggested I do my senior internship at the Federal Building USFWS...

Very sorry to hear of Ray's passing. His work here in Ketchikan will remain as a testament to his engineering abilities. He was a good boss.

I wish so many miles hadn't separated us from Ray and his wonderful Washington family. We loved visiting with them all and Ray was always so welcoming and happy to spend time with us when we could get close. He was an especially good friend to his cousin, my dad, and I know they shared many enjoyable times together.

Our kids were the luckiest to have the best Grandfathers. Ray and Carolyn were enthusiastic supporters at graduations, recitals, plays, and birthdays. We will hold him in our hearts always.

Ray was a great guy & classmate, we will miss him.
