Not sure what to say?

Ray possessed the most important attribute of being a good musician : The ability to LISTEN.
Ray had huge ears.He had great time and an uncanny ability to fit the style of music being played in the moment. He played drums and percussion with a deft touch and always supplied the right texture and vibe for the music on the bandstand or in the recording studio.Ray would let the music dictate what to do and his choices behind the drums were always right. We played some great gigs together over...

Ray's intelligence, awareness, creativity, musicality, and sense of humor were extraordinary, and he left us far too soon.

Ray was one of a kind, as anyone who knew him even moderately well can attest to. I met him in the late 70's at Daddy's, worked with him for a few years there, and was lucky enough to have remained friends with him all these years. A uniquely talented, and quirky friend who is now, and will be forever, missed....

I'm grateful for the time I was able to share with Ray in his mad audio-scientist lab. The circuit-bent speak-n-spell he made for me is among my most prized possessions. God bless you Ray!

this world is much less interesting without ray brunelle in it---love him...

A lifetime digested into a few paragraphs. Ray would find that hysterical. Our time together was never a dull moment. I will miss our visits and chats.
