I met Judge Ray in 1966 during his tenure with the Kentucky Department of Education. Always the humorist and always the same. His magician skills were sought out by everyone. I worked as a vocational co-op student across the hall from his office. When he found out that I loved to draw and do caricatures he had me draw birthday cards for him. His advice to me in later years was to always let at least one cat own me. Rest in eternal peace old friend. I will miss your humor and sage advice. Pegs
